The Taiwanese Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) set up the
Industrial Technology Advancement Awards encouraging local enterprises
to create unique benefits for their customers and integrate
innovation through technology. The Industrial Technology Advancement
Awards consists of 4 categories: Distinguished Innovation Accomplishment
Award, Individual Achievement Awards, Outstanding Enterprise
Innovation Award and Excellent Enterprise Innovation Award.
Review for the technology awards focuses on the integral R&D
performance of the entire enterprise and qualitative and quantitative
capability for R&D.
At the 17th MOEA Industrial Technology Advancement Awards,
more than 700 enterprises participated. Out of 700 companies,
KENDA was one of ten to receive an award. KENDA was named
the top company in the Civil, Chemical Engineering and Materials
Category. In the past years, Kenda has come out with products
that have made bicycle tires more puncture resistant, motorcycle
tires perform better in wet conditions, and car tires quieter
and more comfortable to drivers all over the world. Innovation
