KENDA Tire rolls out new Triple for GEICO Endurocross   (2010-07-15)

IRVINE, Calif., (July 6, 2010) – Kenda Tire – the official tire of the GEICO Powersports AMA EnduroCross Series, presented by E3 Spark Plugs – has rolled out a new off-road series tire, the “K781 Triple,” that’s sure to give the riders running it an advantage on the unique traction conditions associated with the sport of EnduroCross.
Developed and tested for AMA Arenacross and Supercross, Kenda’s Triple features a low profile sidewall for improved cornering stability and cornering traction. With dimpled knobbiness designed for quick warm up and extra traction, the Triple’s tread pattern is engineered to handle hard packed and slippery surfaces – an added benefit when navigating EnduroCross’ boulder mountains and log crossings. K781 is the perfect fit for the slick and treacherous obstacles that dot the EnduroCross courses.
“The Triple has received high marks thus far in 2010,” said Kenda’s Gus Niewenhous. “Yamaha’s AmPro team has won four national enduros in a row – five total – three GNCCs and three OMAs in just the first half of the competition season. So we are excited to show off the Triple in Vegas at the EnduroCross opener.”
