KENDA sponsored team
Androni Diquigiovanni has brilliantly concluded the first quarter
of the season. The team started to win in Argentina in January,
with the Tour de San Luis and then continued in Italy with success
in the Trofeo Laigueglia, the Giro di Sardegna, Tirreno - Adriatico
and Coppi & Bartali Week, to reach the newly victorious
Settimana Lombarda. The general classification won by Michele
Scarponi, the claiming TT at the opening day on Colle Gallo
won at “LAquila di Filottrano” and the stage of Grumello del
Monte.
This is another team victory. Michele Scarponi has deservedly
won La Settimana Lombarda, and the Androni Diquigiovanni to
be a great team. The team supported him trough out the stages,
and it was a great performance of the whole team. Anyhow the
team ends the race with awesome results. Congratulations!
Eleven victories, combined with the great protagonist demonstrated
in prestigious races such as Tirreno-Adriatico and Milan - San
Remo, have been the expression of a team united and compact
in all of its components. |
