KENDA
received the Taiwan Excellence Award again

Taipei,
Taiwan (January 22,2009)—The Taiwan External Trade Development
Council (TAITRA) has announced the winners for the 17th Taiwan
Excellence Awards. KENDA has attained an outstanding Taiwan
Excellence Awards this year—the most among all contestants—emerging
once again as the top award recipient.
The Taiwan Excellence Award is bestowed on products that embody
the traits of “R&D/Innovation”, “Design Innovation”, “Quality
Systems”, “Marketing”, and “Brand Awareness”. Held annually,
the Taiwan Excellence Award competition is sponsored and promoted
by the Board of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs,
and carried out by TAITRA as part of an effort to improve the
international image of Taiwan’s products. |

1.『K1029』KWICK ROLLER SPORT is developed for CITY and
TREKKING riders. It provides easy pedaling and
let riders feel free and relaxed when
riding in city streets.
2. K1029 is designed for normal city roadway. We develop Tread
compound with KENDA’s high performance Motorcycle
Rubber Compounds『L3R』,benefits are extended tread
life and a lighter tire.
3.The riders always worry about nails and cullet to cause tire
flat. In order to solve this problem, we use『IRON
CAP』, a layer of Kevlar material
that runs from bead to bead under the tread to prevent
flats.
4.We defined『K1029』as Premium City Bicycle Tire, there are two
sizes:
26 inch – Mountain bike and Commute bike, for commute and free
ride.
700C – Road bike and Commute bike in European size, for trekking.
5.In 2008, the A-Team’s Round-Taiwan bicycle challenge riders
who rode road bikes all used『K1029』and completed the Round-Taiwan
challenge successfully.
